Dear Prayer Warriors,
If you take a minute and look up 2 Chronicles 20 you will find that King Jehoshaphat was facing an overwhelming Army and he prayed. God told him to send the worshippers out in front of the army and as they sang God decimated the enemy. Your prayers for our Sudan outreach in like fashion broke down the strongholds of the enemy and set many captives free. God did immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine. Over
3040 people heard the gospel and at least
461 responded that they wanted to repent from their sins and trust Jesus with their lives. During the week we followed up the new believers in their homes. Each day we had Bible Studies. Overall, we saw 3 new churches started and one church strengthened.
Each day we drove across the Uganda-Sudan border and shared the love of Christ in 4 villages. We shared his love by our presence, by our smiles, by the medical & eye clinics and by His Word.
265 Sudanese were fitted with eye glasses. It was a joy to see the expression on their faces when they realized they could see. The people of Sudan are quite needy and very grateful for what is shared. By mid-week, Martin, one of the church members, was equipped to continue the eye glass ministry.
We were able to treat
720 men, women and children through our medical clinics. We held a special children's program each day at the clinic site. Over 1,000 children participated. The kids were so precious and hungry for attention. They loved the games and hearing about Jesus!
Again, we want to say a great big thank you for your prayers and support that made this mission possible. Right now the angels in heaven are having quite a party over all that God did in bringing so many to faith in Christ. Please continue to pray for our Sudanese brothers and sisters who are now doing the follow up and discipleship of these precious new believers. This discipleship is the hardest part of the whole mission. Take care and God bless!
Perhaps God would have you join us on an e3 Mission trip somewhere in the world. We invite you to join us as we return to Sudan next Spring. If you’re interested please check the opportunities at
